The client expressed a wish for an informal garden that was relatively easy to maintain. The client wanted a garden that was a lot more interesting than the existing weed ridden lawn and area of deck.
The client also wished; the existing pre-fabricated pond to be incorporated into the design; areas to sit in the sun; a rockery and; interesting, but easy to maintain, planting with all year round appeal.
I provided a design that answered all - patio and decked seating areas to obtain morning & afternoon sun - perfect use of pool & rockery for wildlife - vertical interest with water feature, planting & arches. All in a colour theme of reds & yellows to match the house.
