The clients required a low maintenance informal garden which would give them an amount of lawn for their dogs, a large pond with waterfall, a patio large enough for table and chairs and somewhere to site their, already purchased, gazebo. They had a desire for a decked area and had already chosen the natural sandstone slab they desired. Lighting & electric to the gazebo were also requirements.
There was a lot to fit into a relatively small area but I managed to create a design which allowed all the required criteria with an overall balance which also made the gazebo a far less dominant part of the garden.
