Shortly after the conservatory was installed, a small block paved section was added to the patio at a slightly different level. The patio itself was slightly uneven and had been added to over the years along with a small water feature that was to encourage birds to bathe The results of these ongoings were that there was now no unity throughout the garden and I felt the occurring slight changes in levels were hazardous.
I was asked to create an informal design/garden which; was unified; accommodated the table & chairs; had a small seating area at rear corner of the garden; helped disguise the property at rear and; incorporated a water feature that would attract birds to bathe.
I managed to do all AND on one safer level.
