With this site, the clients had recently had an extension fitted on the rear of the property which had created a small, unsightly, escarpment to the sloping land. The path the builders had made was not wide enough and the existing patio was not pleasing to the clients. The clients also wished all of the fences to be replaced as part of the project.
The design needed to also take into consideration the clients wishes for a ‘play area,’ an area set in the sun and lighting. The design also had to accommodate changes in levels and, most importantly, for the amount of water that was being fed from neighbouring gardens. The clients were very impressed with the results.
